| In the image to the right I really liked how they kept the open air feeling of the hospital or mental ward as it seems in this picture. I think that the use of no lights and the shadowing given by the windows gives it a creepy feeling that I might be able to create in maya using a more natural light and windows. I know there is a floating figure which I know I would not be able to create but it definitely adds the overall scary vibe given off. |

Wk11 Maze Texturing Concept phase
Here is an image from the upcoming game Daylight which has kind of been inspiring me to create such a creepy hospital setting which I have been kind of doing in Maya. As you can see in this image the walls are extremely decayed and the floor is very messy giving it the feeling of being abandoned for a long time. I also liked that they used realistic objects that would be normally found in a hospital and the dim lighting that was used to give it a creepy feeling.

Now this will be interesting. Not only are there a lot of props that you can include, but what I am really interested in is how everything will look in the end.
